yet is just a few minutes drive from St Austell with its shops & restaurants, Par and its long sandy beach, or Charlestown, a typical cornish village with good restaurants and famous for its 'tallships'....... For the 'garden lovers' this is the perfect destination, with so many of the beautiful gardens much less than a 30 minutes drive.... Angela herself has worked at 'Pine Lodge Gardens' and her son James, is one of the gardeners at the famous 'Lost Gardens of Heligan' so detailed information is close at hand.....
Our second double has its own adjoining private bathroom, with luxurious corner bath. There are also tea & coffee making facilities and colour TV Our third room is a cosy single room, perfect for our single visitors or those parties of three..... Guests have access to their rooms at all times...... or our cosy dining area, where a 'truly hearty and traditional english breakfast' is served, but, if you prefer something lighter and simplier, we can provide that too...... All our products are locally sourced where possible, with our delicious eggs and sausages acquired from Lobbs award winning farm shop at the Lost Gardens of Heligan..... Very close at hand, there are attractions and places of interest to suit all tastes......for those garden lovers there is the world famous Eden Project, Pine Lodge Gardens, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock House & Gardens, all less than 20 minutes drive away.... or for those interested in Cornish history we have the, China Clay Musuem, a truly fascinating day out, or Charlestown with its musuem and static tall ships.....for the beach lovers there are several beaches close by.....and for those shoppers, the picturesque fishing villages of Mevagissey and Fowey will provide you with an interesting day out.....
For those wishing to travel further afield, Penwithick is situated just a few miles off the A30 for a quick get from A to B, or you can of course discover the narrow cornish lanes at a much slower pace....Newquay with its famous beaches is around a 30 minute drive, or a drive to visit Rick Steins Padstow will be around 40 minutes.
