![]() Work began in 1976 and today this 30 acre garden is said to contain probably the finest, most varied collection of plants in Cornwall. In addition to Rhododendrons, Camellias and Magnolias, there are around 7,000 different labelled species of plants, from the Southern Hemisphere and the Mediterranean. In addition to this, there is a Secret Garden, a Japanese Garden, Cottage Garden, Arboretum and a Water Garden to name but a few. A four acre Pinetum, is home to 80 different species of Conifer and the Black Swans and many wild ducks that adorn the lake. Due to the diversity of plants at Pine Lodge, the garden has a year long calendar of attractions, so regardless of the time of year you visit, there will always be plenty to admire. |
